走經852signal，見到2007年12月15號香港會有個barcamp。

名叫BarCamp Hong Kong，是一個unconference。

unconference是什麼？是一種非正式會議，形式比普通會議隨便得多，或者不可叫“隨便”，應該是舒服得多。參與者不一定正身端坐座席聽講，可以一堆人找個角落吹牛聊天；可以一堆人坐在地上玩腦震盪。而會議本身也不會有嚴格議程，反而所有參與者有構思想分享就隨便拉雜幾個在場人仕即時開講。不是由數個明星講者作權威發佈的傳統格局，而是小組討論的親切思想交流。在電腦技術愛好者的圈子裏是很受歡迎的一種集體聚會形態。

BarCamp Hong Kong開放給所有人參加，裏面說歡迎任何題材的討論，包括網絡科技，攝影、甚至恒指都可以在場討論。不過我覺得到時候還是會以網絡人文和科技趨勢為主的。如果你有興趣不妨到時候過去踢一踢館。

會場設在Yahoo! Hong Kong’s office in Causeway Bay (27/F Sunning Plaza, near Times Square).

BarCamp
is an ad-hoc unconference born from the desire for people to share and learn in an open environment. It is an intense event with discussions, demos and interaction from attendees. Anyone with something to contribute or with the desire to learn is welcome and invited to join.

BarCamp 是個 自發、平實的研討會﹐讓大家有一個 開放的空間﹐彼此 分享 和 學習。這個活動 由參與者帶動﹐進行各式各樣的 討論、示範﹐讓大家打成一片。任何人 有點子 想獻給大家﹐或想找東西 學習﹐那就對了！歡迎您來參加！

Main event will be held on a Saturday with two ice-breaker events, a social mixer on the Friday night in a local bar and a Yum Cha - Dim Sum breakfast on the Saturday morning from 8 am to 9:30 a.m.

主要節目將於 周六 舉行﹐在此之前﹐另安排兩輪活動以便大家互相認識：

周五晚上﹐將於鄰近的酒吧聯誼﹐周六早上八點﹐大家會到茶樓飲茶。

Update 10-31-2007 (Happy Halloween people):

Yahoo! Hong Kong will be hosting BarCamp Hong Kong on December 15, 2007. There will be 4 conference rooms and believe a lounge area as well.
